Copyright and content policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

Effective: 31 October 2026

The Arclight project hosts no movies, TV shows, music, books or other media, and it keeps no index or catalog of media. It does not provide, link to or endorse sources of copyrighted material. Arclight is a management tool. People are responsible for using it lawfully and only with content they have the right to. See the Terms of use.

Arclight is self-hosted. The Arclight project cannot see, access or remove anything on a server run by someone else. If you believe content on a particular server infringes your rights, contact that server’s operator or its hosting provider.

The project does host:

  • this website and its text;
  • the source code repository on GitHub;
  • the app store listings;
  • the push relay (which stores no content, only push tokens).

To report infringing material in any of these, send a notice to support@moviemethat.com.

A copyright notice (for example under the US DMCA) should include:

  1. your name, address, phone number and email;
  2. a description of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
  3. a description and the exact location (URL) of the material you say infringes, enough for us to find it;
  4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

Notices may be shared with the person who posted the material. Please do not send a false notice. There can be legal consequences.

If we remove material and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice to support@moviemethat.com with:

  1. your name, address, phone number and email, and your signature;
  2. a description of the removed material and where it was;
  3. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  4. a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you are located (or, if outside the US, any place where the notice sender can be found) and will accept service of process from the sender.

Repository content is hosted on GitHub, and GitHub handles repeat infringers there under its own rules. See GitHub’s DMCA policy.
